On May 12, an investor downloaded my business plan and CV and same day he called to ask some questions about the business Plan. Three days later we met at a neutral place to discuss the business plan in detail. He left saying he was going on holiday and he would study the plan more. While still on holiday, he make an offer to invest the full amount of £40,000 which I obviously accepted. To be honest, I got more than I hoped for through the network . While I was hoping to get a handful of angels to invest at least £2,500 each in the company, I ended up with just one angel who invested the whole amount required. Incidentally, after accepting the offer, I received another offer today from another angel offering to invest half of the required investment, but I had to turn the second offer down. The best bit is that my new business partner has over 25 years experience in property business and he will be bringing his experience and contacts to sMighty Home.
